Ted Myers
Hi! My name is Ted Myers, I live on Cape Cod (MA), and I am a person of diverse interests. My undergraduate degree is in Music Education from Ithaca College. I love to play the piano, primarily focusing on jazz, and I have traveled across the US performing in small venues. After deciding to settle on Cape Cod, I attended Suffolk University Law School, received my Juris Doctor, and spent the next eighteen years practicing real estate law. During this time period, I remained active in music, playing piano, trumpet in the Town of Barnstable Summer Band, and directing the local SPEBSQA (barbershop quartet) chorus. I semi-retired from the law to work as a contractor (I'm pretty handy with tools), buying distressed properties, refurnishing, and then reselling them. When the real estate market took a down turn, I temporarily ended this line of work. Currently I work as a real estate broker, teach music at a private music studio (SCORE Music) in Sandwich, MA several days per week, perform with the Christa Dulude Jazz Trio weekly, and write whenever I can. I am very interested in spirituality and personal development (Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckard Tolle, Stuart Wilde), have studied Yoga for five years, enjoy biking, sailing, woodworking, and embracing life with what I like to believe is a positive and flexible attitude. My love and life partner, Sally Walker, and I have been together for over ten years, and I am very blessed with a wonderful daughter, Krysta, who lives in Oakland, CA.
